Paw-trait – Draw Your Own Dog – Edible Dog Christmas Card & Pen Set (Bacon)

Paw-trait Christmas card and pen set: draw your dog, then let them eat the review

Fancy making your dog a Christmas card yourself, but not quite ready to become a professional portrait artist? Excellent. Our Paw-trait Christmas card and pen set welcomes wonky ears, ambitious eyebrows and dogs that accidentally look like potatoes.

It’s a bacon-flavoured edible dog Christmas card with space for your drawing, plus one dog-friendly edible ink pen. You make the masterpiece. Your dog handles the review.

What’s in the Paw-trait set?

The Paw-trait – Draw Your Own Dog set includes one edible Christmas card and one edible ink pen. The card is made from potato paper. The pen lets you add a drawing and your dog’s name, but the pen itself is not edible.

Step 1: decide which features make them them

Start with the easy bits. A floppy ear? An enormous nose? The expression they use when you’ve opened the fridge without consulting them? You only need a couple of recognisable details. This is a Christmas greeting, not an entrance exam for art school.

Step 2: draw your dog and add their name

Use the included pen on the card’s drawing space. Keep it simple if you like: a head, two ears, a nose and their name. A slightly crooked drawing can be half the charm. Follow the instructions supplied with your set and keep the pen away from your dog.

Step 3: take the photo first

Once you’re happy with your work, photograph it before offering the card. You can keep the picture of your Christmas creation without asking the dog to spare the original. Their enthusiasm for contemporary art may be brief.

Step 4: hand over the edible part

Remove the envelope and packaging, put the pen away and offer the card under supervision, following the feeding guidance. Only the card is for scoffing.

A little activity as well as a Christmas gift

Paw-trait is a lovely option if you want to spend a few minutes making the greeting personal yourself. It also works as a gift for a dog-loving household: the human gets the drawing job and the dog gets the card.

If words are more your thing, the Dear Dog Christmas card and pen set lets you finish a message instead. Either way, there’s no need to apologise for your handwriting. Your recipient is unlikely to raise it.
