Consumer terms and conditions
Last updated: 25 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Scoff Paper is a trading name of The Edible Gang Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 12804646. Our registered office and contact address is Unit 19 Roundhouse Court, Barnes Wallis Way, Buckshaw Village, Chorley, England, PR7 7JN. Email hello@scoffpaper.com for general enquiries or orders@scoffpaper.com for order issues.
These terms apply to purchases made as a consumer. Wholesale or business orders are subject to the business terms agreed for that order; trade credit, late-payment charges and wholesale pricing do not apply to consumer purchases under these terms.
2. Orders and payment
Please check your items, personalisation, delivery address and contact details before paying. Our order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order. We accept your order when we send a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept it, for example because stock is unavailable, we will tell you and refund any payment taken for the affected items. We may decline an order before acceptance where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unlawful activity or misuse.
Consumer prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable VAT. Delivery charges and the total payable are shown at checkout before you place the order. Payment is due at checkout unless we expressly agree otherwise. If a clear pricing or description error affects your order, we will contact you to agree the correction or cancellation and refund, rather than charge an additional amount without your agreement.
3. Our products
Edible cards and edible ink pens are intended for dogs and must be used in accordance with the product description, ingredients, feeding guidance and storage instructions. Check suitability for your dog, including any dietary needs, and supervise feeding. Remove outer packaging before feeding. Do not feed a product you suspect is damaged, contaminated or unsafe. Packaging is not edible.
Screen settings may affect displayed colours. Small variations that do not materially change the agreed product may occur, but goods must still match their description and meet applicable legal standards. We do not guarantee that every dog will like every flavour.
4. Personalised orders
Check spellings, names, dates, images and other details carefully. We use the details you submit. Contact us promptly if you spot an error; changes may not be possible once preparation has begun. You must have permission to use any images or content you provide and must not submit unlawful or infringing material.
We are not responsible for an error accurately reproduced from details you supplied, but we remain responsible for our own mistakes and for goods that are faulty or not as described. Personalised goods are exempt from change-of-mind cancellation rights, including when unopened.
5. Delivery
Available destinations, delivery options and charges are shown at checkout. Our delivery page explains current delivery aims. Estimates are not guaranteed dates unless we expressly agree a delivery deadline with you. Your legal rights if delivery is late or fails are unaffected. Unless a different time is agreed, we will deliver within 30 days.
We are responsible for the goods until they come into your physical possession or that of a person you nominate, subject to the legal rules where you independently appoint a carrier. Please provide an accurate and complete address. Where an address error you supplied causes a failed delivery, we may ask you to cover reasonable additional delivery costs, where lawful. This does not remove our responsibility for errors we cause.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Our Returns and refunds policy forms part of these terms. It explains the 14-day cancellation right for eligible non-personalised purchases, return arrangements and refunds. Change-of-mind returns are excluded for personalised goods and for sealed edible products once unsealed after delivery where unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons.
These exceptions do not remove your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. Sale items have the same statutory protections as full-price items. Contact orders@scoffpaper.com before sending edible products back.
7. Order problems and fair claims
Please give us your order number or other proof of purchase and a clear description of the issue. Where reasonably available, photos of the product, packaging and delivery label help us investigate. Keep relevant goods and packaging while we assess the problem, where safe and practical. We may check dispatch and carrier records, request reasonable further information or arrange inspection or return. We cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
We investigate claims fairly. Reporting promptly helps preserve evidence, but we do not impose a short reporting deadline that overrides statutory rights. Lack of a photograph alone does not automatically defeat a claim. Claims must be honest; we may decline proven fraudulent or duplicate claims after investigation. We do not restrict genuine complaints, reviews or lawful payment disputes.
8. Offers and discount codes
Each offer is subject to the eligibility, dates, product exclusions and combination rules stated with it. Codes must be used as intended and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may decline misuse or fraudulent use. Any changes to an offer will not retrospectively remove a discount validly applied to an accepted order.
9. Our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights relating to goods.
These consumer terms do not cover business use, and we are not responsible under them for business losses such as lost profits or business opportunities. You remain responsible for using and storing products according to their instructions, but this does not excuse a fault or safety issue for which we are legally responsible.
10. Website and privacy
You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security or infringe others' rights. Website content belongs to us or our licensors unless stated otherwise. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Marketing choices are separate from placing an order.
11. Changes and applicable law
The terms in force when you place an order apply to that order. Later changes apply to future orders. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest of these terms continue to apply where possible.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may also rely on mandatory consumer protections and bring proceedings in the courts available to you under the law of your place of residence, including Scotland and Northern Ireland.
12. Contact and complaints
Email orders@scoffpaper.com about an order, or hello@scoffpaper.com for other complaints. You may also write to the address above. Please explain what happened and the outcome you seek so we can investigate and respond fairly.
