Our planet is as important to us as our pooches are

One of the many benefits from making Scoff Paper is that, the product we make gets gobbled up – usually in about five seconds flat.

However, these envelopes are made from normal paper and shouldn’t be eaten. We specifically sourced recyclable paper envelopes for this very reason. Not only that, we produce a flavoured card – and it’s in our interest, and Fido’s, to seal in as much of that tasty flavouring as possible. To do this, we have to use cellophane packaging.

Well, we’re not too fond of plastics, so after a great amount of searching, we managed to find some completely bio-degradable cellophane for our packaging. These plant based, compostable little darlings mean we can seal in all that goodness, without worry.

We’re dog lovers and dog owners ourselves, and we are well aware that dogs don’t always know when to stop. Even if they’re told to! So it helps us sleep a little easier to know that even if your pooch chomps at his card before you’ve had time to take it out of the packaging, that we’re not going to cause any harm. Your fingers however, we still worry about.

Our inks, that’s on our cards and in our edible ink pens are all verified as safe for dogs. Truth be told, a dog wouldn’t come to a great amount of harm if you were to write on one of our cards with a pencil, however, we thought that’s not really nice is it?

So, we made sure that any ink we use doesn’t harm our four legged friends.
